作者繪者 Laurence Anholt

  Laurence於1959年生於英國,他的作品超過200本,從圖畫書到青年小說皆有,創作範圍很廣.他的作品被翻譯成30多種語言.他的圖畫書皆以詭異手繪的水彩風格聞名,充滿樂觀及幽默感.這幾年他也寫青少年小說. 他於2017年得獎的小說The Hypnotist(催眠師)是討論種族與文化的議題,得到國際特赦組織的讚揚.他的繪本”Chimp and Zee ,”Snow White and the Seven Aliens” ,及”Serious Silly Stories”等也皆是得獎作品.

  他畢業於”Royal Academy of Art”學校,他目前住在英國西南部的Devon.

  他以7位藝術家的生活為題材,畫出七本藝術家繪本,包括梵谷,達文西,竇加…等人,是引領孩童進入藝術領域的啟蒙書籍.這是系列書中的其中一本.
